In a significant charitable initiative, a dedicated effort has been undertaken by our club along with the Interact Club of Shaanthi School to address the needs of children attending Anganwadi centers. Fund was raised as material and other things were purchased from the fund collected
Anganwadi centers, pivotal in India’s Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme, are crucial for the early development of children in rural and semi-urban areas. This initiative aims to equip these young minds with the essential resources they need to thrive.
The primary objective is to ensure that each child in an Anganwadi center has access to quality educational materials,
Books, learning kits, and educational toys are provided to foster a stimulating learning environment. Special attention is given to include materials that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Future Plans
The future vision includes expanding the reach of this program to more Anganwadi centers, integrating technology in education, and establishing a robust monitoring system to track the progress of each child.
