A program for creating awareness on breasting was conducted in Kausalya Medical Centre, Pollachi. Breastfeeding awareness camps play a vital role in promoting and supporting breastfeeding as the optimal way to nourish infants. They offer numerous health, emotional, economic, and environmental benefits for both mothers and babies, contributing to better overall public health and well-being. Speech was given by the doctors Dr.Shanthi Anand, Dr.Sredevi, Dr. Amutha, Dr. Swathi and Supervisor ICDS, Pollachi North to the feeding mothers to know about the importance of the breast milk and the immunity it creates in the babies. Nutritional food was given to the mothers by the IW members.
