“A clean India would be the best tribute Indian citizens could pay to India,” Shri Narendra Modi as he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission at Rajpath in New Delhi. Swachh Bharat Mission was launched throughout length and breadth of the country as a national movement. The campaign aims to achieve the vision of a ‘Clean India’.
A programme was arranged for the ECO club Students to promote this Mission with the welcome address of Mrs.Jaisree Venkatesh.Guest Speaker was Ms.Hastha Sathish, Student of Environmental studies, Jindal. She addressed the critical issues relating to public health, environmental conservation, behavior change, and social development. By promoting cleanliness and hygiene, the campaign had the potential to uplift the overall living conditions and well-being of the population, contributing to the nation’s progress and development. Our Alumi Deepak was kind enough to start the program by handing over the Eco pots to the members of Eco club.
