Road safety awareness programs among teachers are crucial for promoting a culture of safety, responsibility, and care on the roads. Teachers’ involvement in such programs can lead to a safer school environment, a positive influence on students and the community, and a lasting impact on road safety behaviour for the future.
Mr. Balasubramaniyan K, Co-ordinator – Educational Vertical, UYIR gave a talk on the safety measures so that it will be taken to the public through the students.
The program offers Additionally, it establishes a peer support network where teachers can share experiences and solutions. By prioritizing teacher well-being and professional development, the program aims to improve the overall quality of education and create a more supportive and effective learning environment for students.
Additionally, another Support Programme for Teachers which is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower educators with resources, training, and ongoing support. It focused on enhancing teaching skills, integrating innovative technology in the classroom, and providing mental health support to address workplace stress. Additionally, it establishes a peer support network where teachers can share experiences and solutions.
Mrs. Aruna Anusuya Rangaswamy a Postgraduate/ MSc. Zoology from Madras Christian College,Tambaram, Chennai also the Biology mistress in the famous Lawrence Public School, Lovedale, Ooty motivated the teachers with her experience.
