Interact Club of Shaanthi schools of Pollachi and Udumalipet actively took part in the activity. Miss. Janakshi Balaji from who is more concerned about the environment motivated the students to collect the cabbages and secrete them as degradable and non-credible.It created an aware ness among the students and the public.
Garbage segregation is the process of separating waste into different categories for more efficient recycling and disposal. It typically involves dividing waste into organic, recyclable, and hazardous categories. Organic waste includes food scraps and garden waste, which can be composted to enrich soil. Recyclables like paper, plastic, glass, and metal are sorted for processing and repurposing. Hazardous waste, such as batteries and chemicals, requires special handling to prevent environmental contamination. Segregation at the source – in homes, offices, and schools – significantly reduces the burden on landfills, minimizes pollution, and conserves natural resources by enabling more effective recycling and waste management practices.
